I've been able to ship mail about quite easily, but file transfers via uucp are not working well. Usually, I get this error message from the uucico log on the HDB system: user machine (3/20-16:29:57,912,1) IN SEND/SLAVE MODE (INPUT FAILURE) user machine (3/20-16:29:57,912,1) FAILED (conversation complete) I've run a session with debugging on and it's the slowest I've ever seen uucp run over 9600 baud lines. I have successfully completed transfers between two HDB systems, though the files were not large. I think I have the Permissions file correct and I know the connection is ok because mail usually works. Can anyone help? Mark T.
