Then you should be able to read from the raw disk device. Disclaimer: I haven't tried this under uPort, but it works on a Vax (after creating an image file of the raw disk and uploading). If it works on Minix on a PC, and BSD on a Vax, it ought to work under uPort! Readfs should work without modification on any little-endian Unix box.
