Font mapping is only partially under control of the driver - the app
asks for a particular font, the driver picks what it thinks is the
closest match and returns the info, and the app can then either take it
or leave it (in which case, you get one of the [ugh!]  Windows vector
fonts - Roman, Script, or Modern).

I think you need the DDK (device-driver's development kit).
