Simple fix for etc/Makefile on Iris 4D/70:  In order to load nlist, we
require

LOADLIBES= -lmld

Otherwise, the compilation went very smoothly.  You may wish to
include the information that the optimizer "uopt" will complain about
several routines that appear to contain no exit point.  Example:
error() in eval.c, which calls Fsignal.
