Given JEDR's own self-proclaimed keen sense of humor and the sense of perspective that he has revealed both in newspaper interviews and in articles on Usenet, I think we have the perfect candidate right here. When Brad Templeton originally proposed rec.humor.funny he said he saw no reason why others couldn't propose their own moderated rec.humor newsgroups. JEDR could propose rec.humor.jedr, containing only jokes that were offensive to none and funny to him.
