Re: the TMS99532 300 baud single-chip modem-on-a-chip.  I'm sure
that modem technology has improved since this chip hit the market ('83?).

The question is this:

Does anyone know of a drop-in replacement that will allow operation at 1200
or 2400 baud? (Short of the obvious purchase of a cheap 1200 baud external modem).
