Scott, The arpa postmaster returned this mail as undeliverable saying the user was unknown. Didn't know how else to get this to your attention. I received mail from Conrad Kwok on the 25th saying that the file had been renamed to gawk202f which I presume is the newer version you allude to in your mail. I don't know if its my machine or the procedure I am using, but I have been unable to establish an ftp to the machine Conrad refers to in his posting. (I've got the 'for beginners' articles from the net but they are all I have describing how to anonymous ftp or uucp.) I saw your posting from a few weeks back but as I don't have anything other than an older version executable the diffs don't help much. If its not too much trouble, could you send me the latest of whatever constitutes a complete distribution for gawk? Hopefully, then I will be able to keep up with any changes that appear on the net.
