U.C. San Diego Lines: 24 Approved: compilers@ima.UUCP I would like to find sources for LALR grammars for any and all of the following languages: ISO Pascal, Pascal variants, Berkeley C, ANSI Standard C (proposed), Modula II. If anyone out there can point me to sources I would be grateful. Please note, these must be in LR(1) form. Many (most?) of the grammars that I have encountered in books have been for recursive descent or other top-down parsing methods, and therefore are not acceptable by bottom-up parser generators. I want to develop compilers with YACC, so the grammars must be acceptable by a LALR generator. Thanks in advance. - Alan Heirich - Dept. Other contributions would be welcome. -John] -- Send compilers articles to ima!compilers or, in a pinch, to Levine@YALE.EDU Plausible paths are { decvax | harvard | yale | bbn}!ima Please send responses to the originator of the message -- I cannot forward mail accidentally sent back to compilers.
