Message-ID: <1234@naucse.UUCP> Date: 23 Mar 89 22:26:45 GMT Organization: Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, AZ Lines: 17 I'm not a Ada programmer, but a problem came to my attention that I'd love to know the answer to, since it seems as though Ada should provide this feature and I can't find it in the LRM... If I have a generic package where one of the formal parameters to the package is a type, how can I find out what 'actual' type is bound to a particular instantiation? (I know I can add a parameter to act as a flag, but that seems clumsy to me and it just seems as though Ada would have provided some means (an attribute?) to do this. Please Email me, if possible.
