Does anyone have any suggestions/comments on the use of Modula2 as a
programming language for applications to run under the X Window system?

It's obvious that C is being widely used, and that most (if not all) of
the available programming tools are written in/for C.  Is anyone writing
code in Modula2 and hanging in the X Window system?  Is it possible?

Sun sells a Modula2 compiler -- do they provide any interface libraries
for SunView or OpenLook?
