According to the articles I have been reading, Borland International's Modula-2 is the JPI Modula-2. Apparently, one of the original founders of Borland bought the rights to the Modula-2 project (aborted in favor of Turbo C) and completed development. So the JPI Modula-2 compiler actually started life as the Borland compiler. (ref: Computer Language, Aug 1988)
