I am also attempting to build the 1.3 kernel (sources from Bugs.nosc.mil), and
have run into a problem when I put together a new boot disk. The system
boots, but when I put in the root diskette I get the message, repeatedly:

     Printer out of paper.

And then everything stops. Searching through the archives I've seen mention of
problems with the printer and clock driver's. I've applied all the patches
I could find, but with no effect. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
