Would someone be so kind as to fill me in on some facts of Minix?
Specifically:
I have been reading messages on comp.os.minix for some time now. I was
under the impression that 1.3 was well-established and that 1.4 was
soon to arrive. So why did Prentice-Hall send me 1.2 10 days ago?

Given that I have 1.2 and that I would like to get it running on my
hard disk, why are the cdiffs for main.c that AST included with his
bios-wini.c package impossible to blend in with my main.c?

Can someone tell me how to get Minix 1.2 running on my hard disk? I have
a Seagate ST225 hard disk and WD 1002A WX1 controller.

Any help would be very welcome.
