It is a fairly good "real time" kernel, and looks a lot like UNIX in most ways. There is an optimizing C compiler, and most of the tools work . . . Alcyon is now a subsidiary of SBE, Inc., (who make Multibus & VMEbus) boards -- they are in Concord CA, and their phone # is (415) 680-7722.
