    I am curious about hardware/software available for optically
scanning typed documents and converting them into ASCII text files. The
environments required to run on are AT clones using MSDOS 3.1 or higher. 
    As I do not regularly subscribe to this conference please EMail me
with any information about such systems (prices would be appreciated if 
available). I will compile the respones and publish them in this conference.
