I have a version of tetris available for anonymous ftp that *does* work.
To get the software, ftp to athos.rutgers.edu (128.6.4.4) user anonymous,
and real name as password.  cd to /pub, select binary mode, and get
tetris.shar.Z.   Uncompress this file, run it thru /bin/sh, edit both the
Makefile and tetris.h to point all paths (look for anything with the string
"mende" in it) to what you will be using.   Now type make and enjoy.   This
version also has reverse video for highscores.
