J. Vermillion, Winter Park, FL Lines: 16 Gave C. Ltd. a call the other day and got some updated information on the status of their new hard drive controller. The Amiga 2000 version should be released soon - can't remember any dates, but within a week or so seems like a good guesstimation. However, the Amiga 1000 version (didn't ask about the 500) will be around a lot later - somewhere around 4 weeks, or late April. On a technical note, they are not DMA. Supposedly, the 2000 version is faster than DMA (???), and the 1000 almost as fast. They will also auto-boot off of a FFS partition, so no small old-file-system partition is needed. I think that's everything. I hate waiting...;) -- Arthur Johnson Jr. -=> {uiucuxc, hoptoad, petsd}!peora!rtmvax!bilver!alj -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- -=> alj@bilver.UUCP -=> PLink: DUNG -=> GEnie: A.JOHNSONJR
