Keywords: transputer Message-ID: Date: 27 Mar 89 01:20:58 GMT Distribution: na Organization: NJ InterCampus Network, New Brunswick, N.J. Lines: 41 I asked for some help in a previous posting but it apparently did not get throught to the newsgroups. I would like somehow/someway/someplace to get my hands on a transputer board to do some experimentation. I would prefer to put this board on a machine that I already own: AMiga 2000 or Amiga 1000. I don't think I can get my school to "buy" into it at all. I have been reading the postings to amiga and transputer groups for a few weeks ---since I just got started in netting it was a lot to read. I have downloaded much info; about transputer language, refernces, OCCAM referrences, Helios etc. I have also subscribed to the Transputer newsletter.. What I need is some very specific info...like where and how do I get this board and how do I become an alpha test site etc. I have been reading Computer magazines and I know about the Atari and Amiga transputer projects. I think there is a board for the IBM AT--from some of the postings.... I need answers--hopefully from someone at Commodore--I don't think I have the money right now to go and buy an IBM AT and another tranputer board to go in it along with all the software.. Can anyone be of help..... mark. I would very much appreciate email...not postings...reading newsgroups takes up too much of my time...... -- / / / / / / H.M.
