Just in case anyone didn't know, if you are running II+ UnShrinkIT or II+
ShrinkIT, and you are using a Basis apple clone, you *HAVE* to have something
plugged into the joystick port.  Evidently the basis pulls all the i/o
softswitch locations high when not in use, and that does strange things to
routines which test the open-apple and closed-apple keys (because if nothing
is plugged in, they register as being held-down.  To my knowledge, this isn't
the case on the Apple II+, and certainly not any unenhanced IIe).
