You need a Hawk scanner and the Hawk OCR (optical character recognition) software. These are distributed in Europe by Signa Publishing, I don't know who else you could get it from. I can dig up a review of this scanner if you're interested. The good thing about it is that it includes a printer, scanning & paint software. It saves the scans in FAX format.
