I saw several months back a couple of postings about an article that appeared in a German ST magazine 'C (I think that was the name of it) that talked about a cheap and dirty way to interface a standard ST-506 drive directly from the DMA port using a simple home-made circuit board. As I now have a 30 Meg hard disk sitting in a case just waiting for me to get the money to buy an ICD or Supra adaptor and SCSI<-->ST_506 controller card that I don't have the money to buy right now, I would be very intersted in the latest details of this system. Supposedly it came in the article with schematics and the driver software needed, and a later patch even supported booting from the hard disk. How about it, anyone know where I can find the latest on this??
