I currently have a 1040, Atari 30 Meg HD, monochrome monitor, and EPSON fx-80. I am attempting to set up for heavy-duty word processing, DB work with some desktop publishing thrown in. Current software is: Wordperfect Publishing Partner Superbase 2 I plan on upgrading the DTP and DB sometime. Here is the dilema: I would like a laser, also. I have an opportunity to get a HP Deskjet for a fairly good price. Do I go for the HP Deskjet and work with what I have for now? Do I (can I) upgrade the memory of the 1040 and get an Atari laser? Do I upgrade the entire system to Atari's 'deal' (mega 4 + laser for 3995) As a result of this, I may be selling my current system. Anyone interested? I think I may want to keep the epson, wordperfect, superbase 2, and possibly the 30 meg (it is new). )
