These are sequencing/notation packages aimed at the MIDI market, allowing you to do just about everything from recording your work in real time and printing out complete notation, to reading in manually entered notation and playing it back on a MIDI device in real time, with everything in between. Unfortunately, they're by no means inexpensive. The absolute best of these is Notator by C-Lab, which lists for $595, although you should be able to pick it up for $495 or less.
