Greg, It sounds to me like you need to run the "fdisk" command to
configure drive C: as the active and primary drive.  Then run the
"format c: /s" command on the drive to make it bootable.

Make sure you back up what is on the hard drive first because all will be lost
when you run the fdisk and/or format commands.
