Message-ID: Date: 22 Mar 89 14:48:50 GMT References: Organization: NJ InterCampus Network, New Brunswick, N.J. Lines: 17 The small amount of X-rays used at airports really shouldn't be able to hurt a disk drive. I have passed dozens of magnetic tapes through airport security without a problem. -- I have a friend that was taking a rare hubcap to his father who collects antique cars. He had it wrapped in white paper. When aiport security wanted to X-ray it, he said, "you can't x-ray this! Its a circular demodulator!" They let him through without opening the wrapper or x-raying it.
