Message-ID: <21941@agate.BERKELEY.EDU> Date: 23 Mar 89 02:35:47 GMT Sender: usenet@agate.BERKELEY.EDU Distribution: na Organization: University of California, Berkeley Lines: 18 I recently purchased the newest verstion of SoftPC (1.3). I was pretty excited about it 'cause it's pretty cheap, runs under multifinder, in the background, and uses the SuperDrive directly. Potentially a real PC in my MAC. Unfortunately it has a seriouis bug. On any machine that uses a Datadesk keyboard, or perhaps any non-Apple keyboard, the program takes about 5 minutes to quit or to switch to another program from multifinder. SoftPC confirmed this bug, and could give me no date for a fix. I consider this a serious bug because those of us interested in having a little PC action on our macs are likely to be using the Datadesk keyboard, since it matches our fingers' expectations from PC keyboards. Thought y'all should know.
