Much as I love my Apples here at home, it makes me sick to see how sue-happy Apple is. I'd like nothing more than to see Apple *LOSE* and see a lot of this clone lawsuit garbage quit. I think all of Apple's lawsuits to date have really been bad for the computer industry, especially for the creation of new materials for Apple computers and the like. Consider this: suppose that someone had copyrighted the "look and feel" of a book. Then you couldn't write a book without either licensing or violating copyright. Before you know it, we won't be able to think without violating copyright in our thoughts somehow. ("STOP THINKING THAT THOUGHT! It's copyrighted!") [david] PS: Did someone forget comp.sys.apple??? Imagine my surprise to find this discussion ONLY in comp.sys.ibm.pc!
