We bought SilverServer (and got SilverLining thrown in on the package) and we've grown to like the package a lot. Our machines are now heavily internetworked, using Tops, Timbuktu and SilverServer at the same time. We bought the SilverServer package to share one modem on the network and that works very well indeed. Installation took some time (especially because I didn't read the manual at first) and I don't think it's all that easy to use for novice users but we're quite happy. Shame though that the salesperson didn't mention we'd need one copy of SilverServer for every Mac on the network... Conclusion: very useful software!
