I am very pleased with it. The only difficulty I had was waiting for it to be shipped. Their initial shipping date was overly optimistic, but they offered to ship it overnight (at their expense) once the promised date was history. They use Seagate drives (at least for the 32M) which appear to be significantly faster than the Apple and Rodime drives I have compared it to. Unfortunately, I do not remember the exact numbers. One drawback is the noise level. The Ehman is louder than either of the above mentioned drives. It is a deep, but steady, whirl which I do not find overly distracting. Of course, I have been forced to accept the noise of a Sun drive so this may bias my opinion. I did crash the drive once. The technical assistance was friendly and helpful, but the problem was only solveable by re-initializing the disk. The problem was completely my own doing: I reset the Mac to abort a disk to disk copy. Don't do it! The PD software that comes on the drive is not too exciting. Much of it appeared to be incompatible with the current System. There are some interesting Hypercard and graphics routines. To sum up my experience: I'm a satisfied customer and would buy from Ehman again. The prices are by far the best I have seen. I hope this is of some use to you. Doug Meade dm2w@andrew.cmu.edu
