The files transfer okay. They seem to unbinhex okay, and they seem to unstuff okay. The problem is that everything I download with type 'APPL' does not have a unique icon. It has the generic icon of the page with the folded down corner. I also cannot launch any of these applications. I once rebuilt the desktop and it changed some of the icons and let me launch the applications. Sometimes it creates a unique icon for the first thing I unstuffed after I unstuff the second. My system is a 2.5M MacPlus with System 6.0.2 and the latest finder. I have a Jasmine 100M HD that has about 36M on it. My latest attempt to rebuild the desktop did not help. If anyone has a clue to what is causing the problem please e-mail me. Thanks to all! Todd
