I'll bet you've got a MODEM cable instead of a PRINTER cable. Make sure you get an Imagewriter I printer cable. Most mini-DIN8 to DB25 cables you find in the stores today are actually modem cables, which won't work with a printer. If you can't find one in a store, check the Inmac catalog or try adding a null modem between the male and female DB25 connectors. The Olympia is supposed to be Apple Imagewriter compatible, so you should be able to plug it in and go.
