using Think C 3.01 p4 on a 4 Meg Mac II with sys 6.0.2

i'm trying to compile a huge project with the 68881 (and 68020) 
compiler options set and i am hoping that someone out
there can point out some of the pitfalls before i get too deep
into this. i'm especially interested in the method used for 
converting the 68881's 96 bit doubles into 80 bit SANE compatible
doubles.

e-mail responses would be greatly appreciated, but posting works too,
i'll be happy to forward any response to anyone who so requests.
