Message-ID: <3150@hplabsz.HPL.HP.COM> Date: 30 Mar 89 08:01:21 GMT Sender: taylor@hplabsz.HPL.HP.COM Reply-To: taylor@hplabs.HP.COM (Dave Taylor) Organization: Intuitive Systems; guest of Hewlett-Packard Laboratories Lines: 25 I recall a few weeks ago that someone asked for a program fragment that would allow them to talk to the modem port on the Macintosh from within Lightspeed C. I don't, however, have access to the original request, nor have I seen any responses. I would like to receive from anyone who may have access a simple program (prob. sans interface whizzies) to do same. What I'm planning on doing is hacking on a very simple-minded terminal emulator program as the basis for a program that could run on the Mac and in a reasonably intelligent manner interact with software running on remote computers. I plan on creating the interface using Prototyper 2.0 (an ultimately cool program, in my opinion!) and would be delighted to get some skeleton C code for LSC that I could stick into the prototype to quickly create a hacked working prototype. Thanks for any and all help you can offer! All code used gratefully acknowledged in About boxes ... -- Dave Taylor Intuitive Systems Los Altos, California Guest of HP Laboratories: taylor@hplabs.hp.com
