I am looking for programs for the IBM PC related to archeological research.
The programs should deal with the following areas:

. catalog of artifacts by description and approximate dating (including
  BC and AC).
. retrieval by description and range of possible attributed dates.
. modeling of artifacts retrieved at various excavation sites, with
  mapping of the tentative dates for the purpose of obtaining possible
  chronological sequences.

I would also appreciate names of Universities or Institutions doing research
in this area, and of people to contact there.
