I tried it and the makefiles assumed (somewhat correctly) that it was being compiled on a System V machine. They happily churned along and produced a ksh that worked correctly but didn't have job control. The code has ALL Berkeley (not just the job control code) #ifdef'ed with "BSD". I'm about to dive into it to see if I can fake it into compiling a System V version with Berkeley job control and I thought I'd check to see if someone else might've already done the job for me.
