Hello sunners,

For quite a while now I've been hacking trough the transcript 2.0 software
The problem is that our NeWS hackers are doing some ugly PostScript things
on the laser that they want to debug.

Unfortunately, the transcript software leaves /var/spool/lw/lw-log
empty..... HOW ??? I installed a "options" in /var/spool/lw (and in /)
with `sh VERBOSELOG=1 ; export VERBOSELOG` in it.  also UID & GID daemon
for the permissions set in /var/spool/lw/* and /var/spool/lw also.

When i peeked in /var/spool/lw i saw some temp files created, that
contained the proper info for the log file, but they are not appened:

zappa# cat errsa15855
psif: zappa:marcel lw start - Thu Mar  9 12:58:37 1989


I also tried to set ownership "du=1:" in /etc/printcap.  no succes ;-)
when i did an lpr ehandler.ps, the hackers could finally read their
garbage.

We are running transcript on a 3/50 SUNOS 4.0 (discless client)

Any suggestions ??
