I know this has been kicked around before, but could someone give me a
rough idea what kind of interaction is possible with networked
workstation/PCs?  I'd prefer info from actual users: what do you actually
*do* with it?

The bottom line question is: is a networked PC a reasonable alternative to
buying workstation software for those applications which work well (and
are cheap) on a PC?
