Lines: 19 I was wondering if someone out there has figured out how to invoke troff on a sun386i (SunOS 4.0.1) to print a document on an HP Laserjet II. Over and above the regular -me macro package nroff functionality, I'd like to try to use bolding and italics command requests. It appears that, in order to be able to use troff -t | lpr -t, a troff binary lpr filter is required. Is this part of the standard unix distribution, or is there one out there in the public domain? Or, should I be using troff -a (I did try this without much success)? Thanks (wishful thinking) Regards, Paul Matz PPG Biomedical Systems One Campus Drive Pleasantville, NY. 10570 914-741-4685 path ppgbms!moe!paul@philabs.philips.com
