Does anybody know of any papers or books on a UNiX based Transaction
Processing (TP) operating system?  I'm also looking for any good books
(or papers) on the design of operating systems for a TP environment,
these don't necessarily have to be UNiX oriented, but it would be nice.

I'm interested in finding out what distinguishes UNiX from a TP 
operating system.
