The first phase will be available in the first quarter of 1989 and will feature the "look and feel" of the Presentation Manager as implemented under X-Windows. The API will be available sometime in 1990 and will allow applications to use the same user interface under both Unix and OS/2. The third phase will incorporate server capabilities similar to X-windows.
