A Project Assistant position is available immediately.  This
position is on the UNIX system staff of the CAE Center and will
involve the support of UNIX on a variety of hardware
configurations.

Position Description

Duties include:  systems level of installation and development,
account management, programming, consulting, and general support
of application software for UNIX operating systems.  Knowledge of
C is required.  The position also requires a close cooperation with
faculty, system staff and CAE consulting staff.

Experience

Computer Science background in operating systems and/or 
experience is required.
Experience with Berkeley 4.3BSD UNIX is required.
Good oral and written interpersonal communication skills 
required.
Experience with DG/UX or HP/UX is preferred.
System V experience preferred.
Experience with FORTRAN and GKS desireable.
