Thanks to everyone who commented on my problem concerning the floating point
bug in Microport that caused a kernel panic.  Realizing that this is a
problem far beyond our collective scope, we have taken measures to insure
the security of our system from would-be systems crashers.

I would greatly appreciate it, however, if anyone who comes across
definative evidence pertaining to this bug, or a fix to it, please post it,
or at the least, mail me the information.

I am sorry that some poorly chosen diction and choices as to posting have
touched off such a heated debate.  I aplogize to everyone out there who has
said "What an idiot!" after reading my message or a follow-up posting.  This
was not my intent.  My intent was (and is) the security and well-being of
our system.
