We have VAX stations running Ultrix 3.0. How can I get a program to write profiling information in a file other than the default mon.out or gmon.out? In system V it can be done by setting PROFDIR environment variable, I tried this on our Ultrix system but it apparantly did not work. Am I missing something? I will appreciate any responses. Thanks in advance. -- Hemant G. Rotithor (606)258-2656 * E-mail: hemant@ms.uky.edu or Elect.
