Message-ID: <672@gumby.cc.wmich.edu> Date: 27 Mar 89 17:53:24 GMT Reply-To: peirce@gumby.cc.wmich.edu (Leonard J. Peirce) Organization: Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, MI Lines: 15 In /etc/svcorder, I have local bind to try and cut down on traffic on our network link by trying to resolve addresses in /etc/hosts before using the nameserver. The problem is that with bind second, mail to sites with MX records bounces. If I put bind first, it works fine. Has anyone else noticed this? Or am I dumb for putting local before bind in the first place? -- Leonard J.
