Thus, you have a security measure. Why you can even lock your machine up in a vault and work out of it and get a pretty good level of security. Basically, my opinion, is that security belongs with the workstation level and not with the windowing system level. Even if the window system had some kind of security, if your frame buffer was open to the world, you would be too! cheers, --dwm
