Yes yes yes!!!!  Please impliment such an application!!!!

Here's a small wish list:
	Support for 2 - 24 plains of color or greyscale.
	Allow to save image as color postscript file.
	Possibly allowing for saving the image as GIF and other formats.
	Conversion of color images to greyscale(forms of dither and such).
	Maybe even able to read and write MacPaint would be nice.
	Of course, any format that it writes, it should be able to read
	   except for maybe the postscript file.

This would be great, I hope someone is working on this!!!!!
