What does matter is your display HARDWARE. I'm wondering if the X11-R3 stuff you have includes the hardware driver for your system. Could you find the number for your display hardware ( not monitor ). Typ display board numbers include : hp98542, hp98543, hp98544, hp98545, hp98546, hp98547, hp98548, hp98549, hp98550, hp98556, hp98720, hp98730, etc. A single monitor type can usually support 2 or 3 different display hardware boards. > make World works fines, without any major problems, however > make install bombs on the lack of bsdinstall.
