I have a outline-minor-mode which can be used together with most major
modes,, and it allows our local LaTeX-mode use LaTeX sectioning
commands as outline levels. The code is not up to normal GNU quality
and it is not prepared for distribution, but it works for me. If you
want it, send mail.
