Hi,

 ETAGS makes some pretty strickt assumptions about what the "TAG NAME" looks like.
It does not recognize either barred atoms (|FOO|) or strings. It would be nice
for my applications if it was a bit less restrictive.

 Plus, it would be nice if it were extendable to recoginize other types of forms.
For example, I'd like to tag "(SP <SYMBOL>"s.
