I have gcc 1.33 running on a number of machines and know it's a big system. My question is: what's a reasonable estimate of how long it would take to develop the machine description for a new processor (I'm willing to give up floating point for now). I'd be interested in hearing from developers regarding how long it took them to reach some reasonable level of functionality. If I embark upon this I'm going to be working on a sun386i or a sun/4. marty ARPA: leisner.henr@xerox.com GV: leisner.henr NS: martin leisner:wbst139:xerox UUCP: hplabs!arisia!leisner
